This beat decree challenge is by order of Makayla Monarch and she decrees the following:

1. Your challenge is to write a holiday song. Not a song for just any holiday, but a song for a holiday that doesn’t exist yet and that you make up.

2. You must include vocal samples from another holiday song. Cut the vocals up to send your holiday message to the world. Feel free to make your own lyrics as well. Just be sure to include a mash up of from other holiday lyrics.

3. Write a quick blurb or story on how your holiday came to exist. Record yourself reading that blurb or share the text and that will be included in the release. Feel free to embellish with sound effects and multiple characters or whatever. It really doesn’t have to be long at all.
